An all-in-one solution for your next camping trip, the Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp Sleep System ensures a comfortable night of sleep. The sleep system includes a self-inflating BaseCamp mattress, a Ventra Down Comforter and a custom-sized Fitted Sheet. Designed for campers who aren't necessarily looking for a streamlined backpacking pad and aren't concerned with packed weight, the BaseCamp offers extra-thick foam padding for warmth and comfort. Sprawling 25" x 77" x 2" dimensions offer a comfortable sleeping base and targeted die-cutting delivers enhanced comfort and support in the areas where it is most needed. The BaseCamp's self-inflating design allows you to simply unroll the pad and open the integrated air valve. The open-cell foam core responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Once the BaseCamp has expanded, you can achieve full inflation by adding a few puffs of air or fine-tune the density by pressing down lightly on the pad to release air. A stuff sack is included for ease of storage and transport. Though it can be used on its own as a 52" x 78" blanket, the Ventra Down Comforter allows you to make the most of your sleep system by serving as a sleeping bag when secured directly to the BaseCamp mattress. The Ventra Down Comforter provides a 40 degree comfort rating and, unlike many cocoon-like sleeping bags, it offers freedom of movement and enhanced ventilation on balmy nights. The Ventra Down Comforter is insulated with warm and compressible 650+ fill goose down. Combating "dead" spots, box-baffled construction helps to ensure that the down is distributed evenly throughout the Ventra Down Comforter. An excellent companion piece for your sleep system, the soft polyester Fitted Sheet adds an additional measure of comfort. Measuring 25" x 77", the Fitted Sheet is custom cut to fit snugly around the BaseCamp mattress.
